What We Were Thinking

Taking on 4 kids at once may seem like foolishness. Some have wondered, "What were they thinking?!?" We were thinking...

1. We want a big family. Ever since we started talking about having kids, before we were married, Scott and I wanted a bunch of them--specifically, a football team. Psalm 37:4  Delight yourself in the LORD; And He will give you the desires of your heart.
2. We want our kids to grow to know the joy and confidence they can have with Christ as their Savior.  Psalm 34:11 Come, you children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
3. Jesus did not leave us as orphans.  John 14:18 “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you."
4. Children are a good thing. Psalm 127:3 Behold, children are a gift of the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward.
