Will the Killys EVER move to Illinois?

The Barn in the Flood Plain and two boys

Are you wondering when we're moving? Maybe you think we've already moved? Let me loopify you (keep you in the loop). I've been lacking any goodies to tell you but I suppose even that is news worthy.

It's just quiet 'round these parts. Here's what has happened: We have our end of things all shored up here in Toledo-the new dwellers are eager to take over the reigns here in this lovely place we've called home for 5 years. We are waiting on the bank in Watseka so we can get out of their way. The bank in Watseka is waiting on someone to do an elevation certification for the barn that is part of the property we are purchasing. The house is not in a flood plain but a survey or some other crucial piece of paperwork the bank uses showed that the barn was in the flood plain. (Watseka has lots of two things: railroad tracks and rivers.) The barn is not far from the house so we are hopeful it will prove to not be in a flood plain this time around. The elevation certification man had a 2 week wait as of the middle of last week. *sigh*

Waiting on the Lord is the theme of our lives this past year. It is a good place to be and I remind myself of that daily. I started packing boxes a few weeks ago but now I just find myself rifling through boxes for things I've already packed so I've put that on hold for now, but give me a closing date and the box packing is ON like Donkey-Kong!
